I saw him on telly sitting on a bench drinking poweraid before half time seemed ok.

Reported that he was fine

I know he has the history of the tram accident, but if there was any chance of doing serious damage more than any other player, then he wouldn't be playing.

tried finding the answer in articles but can not find it. exactly how many days was he in the coma for when he had the tram accident??? thanks in advance.

thanks for your help everyone but i found the answer now:cool:36hrs in a coma, this guy is superman in his own right

It was pretty a brutal head clash. Both men ragdolled before they even hit the ground and I was really worried for Polak.

i fear for him every time he jumps up and falls down, i worry every match i know he is playing. yet he is such a hero at the same time

Was it a drug induced coma? Pretty sure it would have been to due to severe head swelling and to minimise to risk further damage.
I was kept in a drug induced coma for 2 weeks (no not the recreational type ) for the same reason, plus a couple of more.

Good story and all but I think it would be best for everyone if he just moves on with his life and retires. Wasn't up to standard pre-accident, was a mistake by the list management to re-draft him instead of getting another kid onto the list and thinking he would be after suffering brain injuries. Next time I hope they can just think with thier heads instead of playing the sympathy card.

I think thats the end of him. Sickening clash, felt for him knowing what he has been through.Shocked me that he ha dno helmet all year. Sad but I think its over. Glad he recovered well from thata nd it wasnt worse.

i disagree to the part where you say he wasn't up to standard pre-accident. he was in good form and in our top 6 players from what i was seeing, devastating as i know he still would be if that hadnt happened and could of been the difference between 9th to 8th. in my opinion.

had been looking sharp in the 2s recently
saw an interview with him where he said first time in a long time he feels like his getting his groove back marking well seeing it well judgement felt good, was doing a really good job , than this! very stiff , i wouldnt mind holding on too him as a mature age rookie and seeing if he can get back as a mobile ruckman ! id delist a bunch of smaller blokes before a big bloke with great hands

anyone got any footage of this?
I saw it on the news and told a few friends about it and i wanted footage to show them
