Im thinking a few club theme songs need changing and YOUR the one to lead the charge, Geelong - we play the game ...... at home or far away, GWS - The other teams are quaking in their boots before the GIANTS and Adelaide - we give our best from coast to coast where the story will be told.

As a suggestion, including West Coast how about deleting any reference to away, coast to coast, big bird etc and replacing with something like sooks and cry babies. At least When we meet again at the home of football we can feel sorry for you before you arrive and after, of course!!
Richmond could use half of geelongs

At home buuuuut noooot awaaaaaaay

And a brain fade cost us against GWS. But, what was your call which I responded to? You can't win this bro. I'm here to help you.

Yeah well we lost to you by a kick at the g

Doesnt mean a pinch of s**t

We lost

Same as you lost to gws by a kick

I know you’re obsessed with struggles away from home. Being a West Coast fan you’d know all to well about flat track bullying. But Richmond have a very good away record under Dimma.

Won last 5/6 in Perth
Won last 5/6 in Queensland
Won last 5/8 in Sydney (against Syd and GWS)
Won last 7/12 in Adelaide

Keep calling us MCG queens because we went 0/3 against the top 4 away from home. It reminds me of the time that Richmond were called finals chokers because they went 0/3 in EF’s. How’s that working out?
You won how many away games in the last two years?

So last year, (2016 doesn't mean squat if you have dismissed the earlier post regarding overall interstate wins), we won 6 away and lost 5.... sound pretty normal. And before you chime in with good teams don't lose that many away games, nobody said Richmond were the best side over the 23 weeks, just that we were the best side when it mattered... finals.

Read the thread title.

Its not about the best team in 2017 its about the weakest premier in 30 some years.

So we still could have won the premiership in 2017 if we played all our games away from the MCG?

Now let’s look at west coast?? Two flags won with a state team from a one horse town. One flag won juiced up to the eyeballs.

Your list has fallen over a cliff and your kranky and narky about it. I feel for you, especially given there’s not much else to look forward to out west. Look, as a suggestion why not pen all your complaints to the AFL as they would love to hear from you. Let us know how you go??

Do you expect a team that finished 13th the year before to be at its peak by say round 6 ?
You guys are a little bit lost in this argument arent you?

You played some scintillating footy this year at the pointy end where it mattered most.

We can all agree on that.

With me so far?

Come finals time you were dominant - made some good teams look ordinary.

We can all agree on that right?

Still with me?

So in the context of the 2017 season you definitely were one of the top teams in consideration to win the flag - which indeed you did.

Still here?

However - we are discussing the weakest premiers over the last 30 some years

You guys couldnt beat decent teams away from home and were very lucky to have had an all at home finals series.

So unlike say the western bulldogs or hawthorn or other teams listed

You arent rated as highly.

Doesnt affect your rating in 2017 - you still won the flag - we arent taking it off you - no need to hide the cup under the floorboards

No one is coming to reposess it.

We know how much it means to you - we really do.

Paragraphs. Use em.

If there's one thing Bigfooty enjoys, it's putting asterisks on premierships.
Yep, all the losers love it. It's that whole Gen Y not accepting reality thing. Us Gen X's get a lot of mileage out of it.

Ahhhhh

You see ive tried that

You lot dont get it - so i spaced everything apart sentence by sentence. Give you time to absorb each one before moving to the next.

Try to get you past the idea that im saying you were a s**t team in 2017 which all of you seem to think i am.

Your saying we we’re a s**t premier because we performed s**t away from home in the H&A season and were lucky to get home ground finals.........I think that might mean you think we’re s**t in 2017.

Because you’ve repeated yourself so often I think you’ve convinced yourself your right......which your not.

To balance your cycloptic view......from 13th, most even comp in years and win so convincingly against quality opposition is amazing.....you clearly can’t recognise this, however these are the reasons we believe definitely not the weakest premier, including being a rank outsider come game day.

As an aside, I dont believe too many tiger posters are suggesting others teams either, which means we respect all past winners unlike you and others as a result of envy and salt.
