I'm looking to create polls on a website. Any suggestions about which software to use and where to get it?

There are always the simple free ones like http://www.bravenet.com and http://www.freepolls.com

But I believe those ones have too many ads...

I suggest you go to something like http://www.free.com and have a look at the web design stuff there.
