Headin up there in a few weeks for a fishing/drinking trip with a couple of mates for 6 days.

Anyone know any good isolated spots to fish where it'd just be me, my mates & the water?

Heard there's a place called Sharkies where all the young people congregate on weekends, can anyone confirm this & is it any good?

And apart from fishing & drinking what else is there to do in Pt Lincoln exactly? :D

Info would be appreciated.

The lincoln is a great spot, sharkies is the front bar there and I've been there a few times and it was going off. Curtosey of work I've been able to stay there a couple of times as well. Definately worth it if you can afford to pay a little bit more.

Head over to Coffin Bay, great spot, loved it there.

agree, if you have a 4WD head to the national park, Gunyah Beach is a great spot for salmon fishing and the odd mulloway.

another good spot is Elliston, great little spot just past the jetty on thee rocks, we get garfish, tommies, KG whiting and some others there.

I'm not much into fishing but I went to Streaky Bay for a holiday about 12 months ago and was fantasising about living there.

Oh so calm and tranquil ... and the local pub we stayed in even had Fox! :)
