To those wondering why Porter has slimmed down, apart from the obvious benefit to his mobility, remember that the AFL are chaning centre square rules to stop guys like Primus from cutting across other ruckman's line.

This is bad for the bigger fellows, so the bulk is not needed as much.

Anyway, losing bulk doesn't mean losing strength anyway.

Porter losing weight is a good thing, he did look like he lumbered around last year the majority of the time (except when he chased Crawford down!)
