What would u like to talk about? I'm not allowed to talk about Wayne Hughes and passing on Daniel Rich.

I'm also not allowed to say that we were very lucky to beat the Dockers ( minus Pavlich), that Ratten can't control his players or motivate them and that without Judd we are nothing.

The only good thing to come out of the game were the ensational WA blues fans.

We know your opinion, and its been discussed to death. You (and I) wont know if this was a good call or not for a while.

Leave it alone and we can all discuss it then. You can say I told you so and we will all look stupid. Or you will. Time will tell.

I was at the game, and luck had nothing to do with it. We were poor in the first quarter, and they were good. Very good. Then they wilted under pressure.

No one is happy with our start. But to our credit we fought back well.

And here's a newsflash for you. We WON. Yes, Judd was great - thats what we pay him a shitload for - but you are totally talking down the efforts of Gibbs, Carrots, Setanta and JR. But for some inaccurate kicking we would have smashed them. Its not easy winning at Subiaco.

I was at the game, and aside from the first quarter, I can assure you it was never in doubt.

The only good thing to come out of the game were the ensational WA blues fans.

We cheered the place down. We were positive. And we supported our boys the whole way.

Suggest you do the same.

You get on this forum, and then bag our games, our players (particularly young players), our coach, our game plan, and our recruiters.

Thats not support.

I guess your passion is in the right place, but your methods are overly negative. Im rapidly getting sick of hearing your repetetive and constant bagging of the CFC, its players, its coach and staff.

Just give it a rest man?

OP means original post. It is the first post that starts the thread. Not all are serious, but not many are as dumb as this one.

Most posters dislike silly or repetitive threads clogging up the board, so search out other threads that may have a similar theme if you are planing on starting one, if you cant find one with the theme you want to discuss then by all means start one, but unlike this one, try keep it relevant to the Carlton team.

Sorry my mistake. We had a few new posters ask what some abreviations meant and usually people ignore them. No no idea what the OP meant either.

I wonder if the poster is a Port fan with multiple log in names and forgot which board he was on because from the caliber of his Carlton post, he aint a real Blues fan.

When I was a kid my mum would make me anzac cookies to take to the footy. Should I post the recipe here? It has about as much relevence to Carlton as this thread, at least I was going to Carlton games.........:D Oh sorry, the OP managed to make it Carlton relevent by weaving Carlos into the story........ yep a fair enough topic....:rolleyes: Unless he meant Carlos Santana, he at least sometimes plays the blues.

you seem like just the poster that has come onboard after we have won a couple of games and looking to be a decent team
any supporter that has barracked for carlton in the last 7 years would appreciate every single win, whether good or bad.
For me, after coming on board in 2002 when i was 9, every win is a blessing!

Second stuff the recipe- can you get your mum to get the oven cracking and post me some?
Third - is there 1 fresh ANZAC in every biscuit?
4th - why does Port need a runner? Who would listen to Williams?

go ahead. the natural laws of a forum will decide its fate. if your topic is interesting, the thread will stay at the top. if not, it will fall off the front page.

also, you might have overlooked the fact that you control your mouse and therefore you control which threads you read. after you've been on here for a while, you get a kind of auto filter going and don't bother clicking on (or even seeing) the worst threads.

anyway, i still think it's a fair enough topic since the post was about football. a lot of people (me included) don't want to post in other boards and prefer to stick to the Carlton board. Sometimes we might want to say something about footy that isn't directly related to Carlton and we do it in this board because that's where we feel comfortable.

I understand that you're going through bigfooty growing pains. in another 6 or 12 months you will have either left, become part of pone of the clique's or come to terms with what bigfooty is.

This was a decent idea for a thread. It's poster's who are bored and just wanted to talk crap who have resulted in it serving no purpose. Just because it's not directly related to Carlton doesn't mean we shouldnt be able to post other topics on this board. sometimes its nice to just hear what other Carlton supporters think on certain issues.

FWIW, I, alongside most media commentators and anybody who have seen David Armfield (the Port Adelaide runner in question), would agree with the OP that he is a ******** and a blight to the game who needs to understand his role in this sport. He should **** off and never return
