Small, bitter, fascinatingly unimpressive.

A little short on legs after a hot start, but plenty to take from that one (again). The wheel is turning.
Hats off to Mundy. A ripping bloke and perversely happy he got a send off, even if it had to be us. A legend, enjoy the last two games of your career then put your feet up.
Positives
• Immense effort levels. Tackling right up, dug in hard during an absolute slog of a game.
• Tom Barrass
a late Brownlow charge. **** sake what a player.
• Funny to see Andrew Brayshaw
crying to the umpires because some bloke who will be working the checkout next year kept him quiet. Copped the second worst derby beating of his career, by Jackson Nelson
ffs.
• Duggan tremendous, Hurn good. A healthy JJ and Yeo, there is some movement off the backline in this side. Edwards decent again too for what it’s worth.
• Darling will die for this club. I know some people cooled on him after the offseason shenanigans, but his output level and repeat desperate efforts are so impressive. First half huge, starved of opportunity late.
• Exxon. Building on building on building. We need mids for help future and he should feature plenty.
Negatives
• Midfield needs work and, as above, it’s time to turn it over to the youth with bit parts from the old boys. Not exactly clean conditions tonight, but they got lost out there.
• Running out of legs the theme of this season, although on a night like tonight the fittest team in the world would have faded. Needs addressing and no doubt it will.
• The next three words Pavlich strings together will be a record. How is this bloke on broadcast TV
Expected a metaphorical bath, the boys got a literal one but dug in desperately.
One more to go then into the fun stuff.
