Come on down!!

After two great wins on the trot you lot should have plenty of ideas for me this week...

1. Seeing Hase near tears when he accepted the Glendinning - best thing I've seen in ages. Can't believe this is the same bloke that wanted out a few years back - great to see how hard and driven he is (on top of his natural skill and ability). Fittest I've seen him in ages, and he's really becoming a quiet leader for us. There was a tackle towards the end of the game where he and Scham scrum tackled about two or three eagles. As the umpy came in for the bounce, Hase ruffled Scham's hair and really got suck in with encouragement. I've never seen him do that much before - used to be Belly or Soloman or McManus that would do the gee-ups and well dones.
2. Seeing the new gun that is Stephen Hill - just sooooo exciting every time he gets near the pill. Works bloody hard off the ball too - some of our mid-tier players should take note.
3. No bloody carp zone - outstanding!!! We play so much better man-on-man.
4. Taz down back - he could well wind up being better value to us as a tagger than he ever was as a forward.
5. One week closer to seeing Rhys again.
6. DeBoer - not huge stats, but loved the heart and tagging role he did so well.
7. The way we lifted every time the Toast came at us - same thing we did against Sydney. If we stick at it, and leave the zone alone, we might just emerge in the second half of the season.
8. Crowley's injury means yet another youngun should get a game next week - I'm really loving how well our kids are doing!!

Sandilands getting forward and kicking goals was a good sign and I hope it continues.

Where to start...:D

4 derbies in a row :)

Most of our young players have played in a derby win or two, whilst most of "the new breed" have never won a derby. Our young players having a psychological edge over their young players is great, knowing that wherever we are on the ladder that they are going to have to play out of their skins to beat us.

Not throwing the towel in at half time after being 4 goals down

Hase post game :thumbsu: Beautiful

Tarrant almost completely nullifying LeCras down back, in great form as a defender.

Hill :)

Thornton as a forward, a completely different and much more effective player.

Foster, Walters, Clarke, Hall, Pratt, Pearce, Sibo putting pressure on senior players

Ballantyne, Chopper, Des are less than a couple of weeks away, whilst Benjamin B and Ruffles are less than a week away from WAFL.

27 hours later, i'm still excited :)

Hase's emotion after the game... enough to make a blokes bottom lip start shaking :thumbsu:

Hase and Schammer becoming a midfield in and under tag team.. me likies

Hill... Jet, gun, future star... blah blah :thumbsu:

Excellent ball use in the second half, ran with confidence and backed themselves in everytime

The backline each beat their opponents on the day

Ibbotson's attack on the footy in the last quarter.. to me, that showed that we werent going to lose
