Ok that was a bad loss and im upset, but hey, we we're 3-10 and manages to make the finals.

Im proud of my tigers and still think the direction is ok.

One thing I have to say is we should have kicked with the wind, my son played a under 13's pre-lim final today and that wind was unbelievable, I mean I was watching 13 year old kick goals from the square it was that strong, never mind.

Better luck next year tigers.

Proud of our boys. Today sucked, don't get me wrong. But for anyone that wants to be too critical, can you please point me to your posts of the last 9 weeks that had the same sort of sentiment?

Lets assess and come back stronger next year. I don't think there is any hiding from some of the things that didn't work this year, however I think alot of ticker was shown last half of the year, and we achieved more than I thought was possible.

We don't lose any guns for the next few years, we can only get better and better.

Our list profile is in an excellent position moving forward, but we must make the most of the trade and draft period. Need more talent.

Footskills actually a prerequisite from now on.

We have the talent on the list right now to make the top 4 and push for a premiership. If only it could be somehow harnessed, organised and focused from Round 1...

Fantastic second half of the year from the boys, showed a lot of character to turn it around.
Need another A-grade midfielder in my opinion.
Also another forward who can kick goals.
I love Griff, but he is better around the ground rather than putting a score together.

Oh and for the love of God, we neeeeeeeeeed some speeeeeeeeeeeeeeed!!!!!
Have been saying it all year, we don't have a genuine line breaker apart from Deledio.

Club should be proud if the resurgence, I certainly am and will continue to be.

Commiseration guys, such a great ride to the finals, showing that you could play a brand of footy that could get sustained wins. Unfortunately this result was always possible mainly due to the fact you guys were up for so long and had travelled 3 weeks out of the last 4.

All the best for next year.

I had been waiting a few weeks for the wind to come out of our sails, today was it.
But I'm still a proud and passionate Richmond man. Have just upgraded my membership for next year and I'm pumped for what is to come.
I've been the eternal optimist but believed the same. We know we're not the best team in the league and couldn't continue to win with raw emotion. I believe the players went into today with the attitude that they can't continue to play grand finals every week. The way it happened came as a shock but I'm over it now. Looking forward to a better start to next year than this year and making the finals yet again.

Positives hey..... well we get a higher draft pick than if we won.... We get a theoretically easier draw in 2015 than if we won (unless they change the fixture setup) and we have seen how hard we needed to work to go on that amazing winning run..... No chance of complacency over Summer after that effort....

Young list with a spine that will be around for years - except CHF!
Rance now elite.
Dusty and Brett going forward is a win.
Titch and Ellis took a step up.
Cotch's defensive running is fantastic. I know people who watch the game on the tele think he's gone backwards. But if you get to the game you'll see his defensive running is outstanding.
Astbury is the CHB Chappy will never be.
Petterd thumbed his nose to the haters.
Maric consistently leaves it all on the ground.

Tough way to end the year, but if your guys can put that behind them and focus on what they did to get there, then there's every reason to be optimistic about next year. Given how you finished the minor round, it belies belief that you were 3:10. Hopefully for you that will be addressed and not repeated.

I have to say: Yes, it was a horrid, horrid day, but all-in-all things around the club are on the up.

Sure, we're a bit off premiership material, but we're closer than we were, and no team in history has done what our playing group has just done -- making finals from 3-10.

We've found a couple of young guns, started our own VFL team, made finals two years running for the first time in almost 40 years, and so on.

Yes, it was a crap day, but it's far from all bad.

Loving all the posts about how even though today was not enjoyable that everythings not that bad regarding our talent, coaches, front office, football department and the direction were headed. This is one of the things that i LOVE about being a Richmond supporter is that the other REAL supporters all ways stick with you through the bad days, Richmond is more than just a football team, its also a family of supporters who are loyal until death to each other and the club, thats something the media SHOULD but never gets right about the real yellow and black army. Love you all my fellow richmond brothers and sisters i wouldnt trade you or the tigers for anything.
