I work for Fosters and they have just come out with a new product called "Richmond Lager" has a tigers head on it aswell.

As the CUB sponser the AFL is it possible for Fosters Richmond Lager to sposer the Tiges?

before any funny buggers say it, i am aware that Fosters and CUB are one company! i work for them!

Yes it is possible nugget, and as a sister company of CUB it wouldnt be a hassle what-so-ever as there is no conflict of interest.

Interesting. I did hear we are well on the way to a deal with 2 new pretty major sponsors but in what capacity I'm not sure.

Wouldnt be a bad sponsor to have.

Sorry to spoil your party dude, but Richmond lager has been around for donkeys.
For CUB to retain the rights they have to make a set amount each year.
Don't produce a lot and don't know where it goes but I have one in the Cupboard.

Think about it, if there was an Essendon or Collingwood Lager on the market, would you buy it?

Would have the reverse effect, especially with regards to Footyheads.

In 1962 CUB bought the Richmond Brewery in Victoria and abandoned its brands. Loyal drinkers of brands such a Richmond Tiger Beer and Richmond Special Export Bitter were understandably upset but powerless.

What a spew...could have been drinking a Richmond Tiger Beer!

I like the "It's time" bit (their slogan is "It's time for a Tiger" in case anybody hasn't worked that out).... would be quite fitting with a picture of Richo tearing his hair out underneath.

Oh i didn't realise! ive only been there for about 4 months and this is the first shipment we've had sent into the warehouse.
I was told by everyone that it was a new product.

because something along the lines of the competition rule only applies to Australia...so Qantas doesn't compete with Emirates with flights to Sydney from Melbourne etc
