Just so we don't become too much like Geelong and cry foul at everything that doesn't worship us as gods, I suspect Stokes may have helped us out here by keeping the old fashion players code. Not suggesting that Zac should have got done either, not at all, but if it remained 'undetermined' then there's a reasonable chance Stokes didn't fill in too many blanks for the MRP.

So credit to him if this is true.

Didn't Jonno have one of those? I'm sure they would be chilled and seeing SJ's actions for what they were, shrug and move on.

Great that Dawson got off the smother on Selwood. Pity that the similiar incident with Ziebell earlier this year was not treated the same.

I'm struggling to think of a more one-eyed or hypocritical bunch of supporters than Geelong fans. It's like they have selectively erased the actions of Yeates, Bruns, Scarlett, Milburn, Mooney, Ling, etc. from their memories. And guys like Chapman, Rooke, etc. who play tough but fair, they would love getting in a scrap/tussle, or line up someone up if the chance presented itself. Now their side has basically lost the old intimidators, and they expect everyone should just be nice to them and let them go on their merry way.

The MRP always get it right or very close to during the finals.. if they just kept the same standards and interpretations during the season no one would have an issue with them.
