Please do not log on here Monday and clog space with threads about JON's inability to play football, questions of why we persist with this guy, why he wasn't delisted last year etc.

A lot of you wanted him this week, you've got him.

Or should I say, you know what yr' getting!!!

That said, like all our players, hope he goes well .. but I'm not holding my breath!!!

if anyone expects him to be a world beater this week then they're an idiot.

I think the general consensus is melbourne is probably the best fixture to give him a go in, so if he's clearly not up to it it prob wont affect the outcome of the game. Also the way the timing falls in with the bad form of the usual suspects and cuz/cotch/cogs/thompson all another week or 2 away, prob perfect timing to give the youngster a crack.

I just went searching for info on how tall Michael Roach was (for comparison with JON) and look what I found on Wikipedia:
