Solid team

You are paying high premiums for some of your rookies which I would be careful with.

Not sure how many games Saad will play (or if he will generate a great deal of cash)

And Im not sure on Wingard. Quite pricey and I cant see him scoring greatly, although port fans should be able to shed more light on him.

From the looks of it, you have chosen some of the best premiums.

Neale is injured so maybe change him for someone like Mcdonald or C Smith etc

Not a bad team, here are my thoughts:

- Not having fyfe is a bit risky, will be in the top 10 forwards this year, I'd try to sneak him in (maybe trade pavlich for him).
-Lake is a good pick though you'll better off going with Hargrave.
-Hmac/Giles is a risky ruck combo, I'd use Giles with a premium, somebody who is consistent and who you'll keep. I'd also trade Pattison for Jarred Redden, he's had a good preseason scoring: 84, 82, 37 (sub) and with Lobbe not playing will definately get some games, at the price of $104k I'd say most DT's will have him.

Thanks for the memories, but Im opting for younger better looking models

There are better options such as Lake and Hargrave compared to Ellis and Golby. Polec at 210k will probably average the same as a rookie who you can get at half Polec's price. Pfeiffer is a dud who wont get a game.

Ok sure, thanks. I would've thought the same thing about Longer a few weeks ago, but he's played every pre-season match and been one of our most impressive, so it's now at the point that I'd be surprised to see him not in the round 1 lineup. Golby has also had a brilliant pre-season, and has been one of our top DT scorers in it. Will have a look over him, though, and the rest, cheers for the advice!

The rookies are not set in stone at this stage and will come down to the final stages. I may still take the punt with Shiel even if not named as I believe he is worth carrying even for 2-3 rounds before he gets that chance.

massive risk in the back line id say downgrade one of the three in the backs to rookie use the cash to upgrade porplyzia, really like the pick of sidebottom. Mids look strong

35k left to play around with rookies....i was toying with the idea of downgrading lake and hurley to rookies to get boyd into the centre, but then my forward line is really weak.
Been fiddling with all sorts of combo's such as waters/porps...not really happy with any of them. Any advice would be awesome, but, i am pretty set on my mid-price rucks.

By saving that amount of money in the rucks the rest of your team should look better than it does IMO. 2 premium backs with 3 mid pricers is risky. Don't like adams, dangerfield or ebert in the fwd line either. I'd put Devon Smith in for Ebert and bump danger or adams up to a better player, or both. Mids look good, but maybe too many eggs in one basket
