"It appears, after listening to saints vs roos, that powell's osteitis pubis has flared up again, the commentators said that he wasn't moving freely at all in the second half and that it had flared in the pre-season.
well done melbourne, spot on :)"

He kicked at least 1 goal (Testing his groin at a whole 10 meters out, JUST in range!).

Powell is my type of player & he gave us two good years, but I'm not gonna cry if he fails at St.Kilda.

Karma's a killer!

What a shame eh? Now the Saints can pay him a crap load of money to help him get ovber that dodgy groin.

You gotta love that Karma! ;) :D

And you decided to tell us that because?

No real reason. It was obvious that Powell ran out of legs in the match against the Roos, along with most of his team mates. He was a lot better against the Crows and showed some very good signs. Hopefully once he gets a few games under his belt and regains some match fitness then he will prove to be a valuable pick up.

Gee I would have POWELL against any of the Melbourne "players" there now. Especially their captain:D :D :D

Basing it from one game?

Yeah, you are bright.

powells a gun we were stupid in giving him away in the first place

yes you were, but he didn't really shine at the dogs.
He had one good year with us (a VERY good year) but I'm CERTAIN that he will look back on that year as his best, when he is in the twilight of his career (if he isn't there already, that OP he's got is serious).

Didn't his brother have to retire from afl due to his persistent OP?

Yes he did.

He had 1 great year, 1 shocker (0 games due to Op) & a decent one.

Some peopke think he was hard done by at Melbourne, but when he was fit (and not suspended! ) he was picked. We copped a whole season of injury & kept him on board, so he did ok out of us.
