For those of us living in Melbourne, was just interested who was going to go to the practice match at Princes Park on February 18th.

I'm going to try and make it, would love to have a look at the new boys plus see how much improvement some of the younger kids have made since last year.

Has the draw for the NAB cup come out yet?? If so, who do the Blues have in R1??

it would be a intra-club practice game like last year.
The Carlton website clearly states that it is an "inter club" match on the 18th Feb.......not an "intra club".........unless it's a typo or something.

Doesn't say who it is against though.

i wouldn't have thought they would have played a practice match a against another team 7 days before their first nab cup game. last year they played intra-club game a week before thier first wiz cup game against essendon. i might be wrong though.

I find it strange as well, but the website does say Inter-club. I image it is just a typo.

Heard whisper that the match might be moved to the 17th, due to the unavailability of umpires.

Melbourne or Saints.

Its going to be an awesome feeling pumping these sides where it hurts most.

They owe us.

More than a whisper WTTF, according to the website, the practice match is on the 17th. God damn it, won't be able to make it. Will have to wait until the NAB Cup.

LOL, do you really think Carlton care how many people turn up?

They could have the practice match for 3am in the morning for all they care and the players care, all they want is match fitness.

Worry about seeing the boys in action come NAB and Home and Away season on the weekends.

Don't blame Carlton. It was meant to be on Saturday but the umpires were unavailable. The time had to be changed just to suit the availability of the umpires.

Spot on Kooley, the club would be disappointed the match is no longer on the Saturday for that reason alone...........Membership sales.

Hopefully we can pick that back up when the NAB Cup starts or the Family Day the day after I think.

No doubt they will, but the Club would not doubt prefer to get access to as much Membership money as soon as possible. Especially with the way our cashflow has been in recent years.
