There will be a big chance that a number of the practice matchs will be played at Princes Park due to the number of country grounds out of use because of the drought. I know that the QEO will be out of action for practice matchs for both Bendigo and Essendon and chances are the ground wont be used until the third Bendigo home game. The second home game against Sandy looks like being transfered to WH at this stage.

Was around the start of Feb we had our first serious intra club game this year at Lexus Centre so Im presuming next year will be the same drill.

Gummleton will play around CHB/CHF for the practice matches, Jetty will play wing/forward and the rest not sure at this stage.

Essendon 2007 best side

B McVeigh Michael Bradley
HB McPhee Fletcher Lovett Murray
C M Johnston J Johnston Campo
HF Lovett Lucas Hird
F Johns Lloyd Monfries
FOLL Hillie Stanton Watson
INTER Laycock Gumbleton Dyson Slattery

The question is, is this side good enough to make the eight? you would think with the forward line there is enough goals there, will Johns and Lloyd get in each other way? but with Monfries and Lovett around the sticks it looks dangerous and not to top heavy. The inclusion of Michael to the backline has been a massive bonus because Lucas can now play forward. The backline looks great now and when you look at the team you can see what we were lacking. The only question about our side is our midfield, please feel free to comment
