Not saying this is the team I'd select but I'd guess that we'll see:
B: DUSTIN FLETCHER TAYTE PEARS KYLE HARDINGHAM
HB: DYSON HEPPELL CALE HOOKER COURTENAY DEMPSEY
C: BRENT STANTON BEN HOWLETT JAKE MELKSHAM
HF: ANGUS MONFRIES JAKE CARLISE DAVID ZAHARAKIS
F: STEWART CRAMERI MICHAEL HURLEY PATRICK RYDER
R: DAVID HILLE JOBE WATSON HEATH HOCKING
I/C: NATHAN LOVETT-MURAY JASON WINDERLICH DAVID MYERS TRAVIS COYLER
With either NLM or Colyer as the sub.
Wow ... quoting oneself. Is that as bad as talking about yourself in the 3rd person?
No matter what we think of McVeigh and NLM the coaches love having them in the side and I can see why. It was an oversight of mine to leave spike out. Also reading that Winderlich pulled up sore from his game and wont play much at all in April I'll chang him over for McVeigh.
Also most have Hibberd in but I think his ball use in the game against Sydney was horrible so will be the last picked for the backline and seeing everyone is available I don't think he'll be in. Even if he's 5th in line as a small defender after Hardingham, Dempsey, Heppell and Myers he'll still play over 15 games this year.

That is the most physically strong side Essendon has played in a while. Hird definitely has a lot of respect for the way Sydney have gone about it for the last 7 years and we'll see a lot of players zoning around the ball and a kick away, lots of tackling and lots of long kicks to Hurley and resting ruck.
