Preview Predictions thread

Hi all.

Have stolen this idea from several boards, but thought it could be good to have a "safe" thread for predictions where our opinions could be discussed rationally. (Just kidding) I did look for a similar thread, but tapatalk isn't the best method for that. If there is a similar thread please delete.
The idea of this thread is to put a prediction out there that you believe will happen in a relatively short period of time (within a couple of years), then bookmark to see whether you were right or had egg on your face.

Edit: you also can include attach posts that you may have already posted in prediction theads.

I'll start with a couple of predictions of mine.
-Gaff to be AA by 2014
-Barring injury, hill to play 20+ games this year floating between the wing and hff.
-The question "can you grow a beard?" will be asked to all potential draftees by seasons end.
-Masten to be AA 2013.
-And as much as it pains me to say it, Priddis to no longer be an automatic selection in the side by the end of the year.

And a couple of non eagles predictions:
-Collingwood supporters will start shouting abuse at lynch when he blindly kicks into the f50 several times by halfway through the 1st quarter of round 1.
-Brad Ebert will be top 10 brownlow this year and ports b&f. I reckon he's set for a massive year.

We will lose round 1 and this board will implode.

We could be 10-1 and the board would implode after a loss. I tend to avoid bigfooty after a loss, for that reason.

I do worry you will be right about this one in particular though. Having said that, preseason form doesn't count for anything when the ball is bounced round 1.

Shuey to be a brownlow medallist in the next couple of years*

*Provided he avoids suspensions.

 

[Suma Magic]

We will be 0-2 and reeling.

We will be the best team in the comp in June/July.

We will miss the top 4 again. We will make the prelim.

We will lose round 1 and this board will implode.

It's only pre season form but i do fear you'll be right about losing

Quarter of the way through the year we will be 3-3 (having lost 3 games at home, includes derby), at best 4W and 2L
Winning 5 of our last 6 we will hit the finals in good form
Chris Masten to be the best and fairest
Mark Hutchings best first year player
Josh Kennedy leading goal kicker with 70 +
Sam Butler and Adam Selwood are jostling for one back line position

Non eagles prediction
Carlton to be minor premiers
Hawthorn and Sydney will slide after LTI's to key players
I agree with OPs prediction about Ebert winning Port's B & F. But will say highest vote getter for Port in the Brownlow instead of top 10 finisher
