I agree, 12 hours is the way to go. The last couple of rounds have really dragged out.

Borgsta said:After a slow start we are getting through about 10 picks a day. We need to get through 156 picks and have so far done 80. On the 9th we got through about 20 picks so it ebs and flows a bit. We should finish it by next Wednesday (18th) which leaves about 10 days for extra trading. Considering we can and are trading now I think we have nothing to worry about.
As sog said, I dont think anyone has actually taken more than 12 hours anyway, but Im happy to put it in the rules if you guys like.

I was right in the middle of a teleconference at work researched my pick to stop myself falling asleep. In my haste, I posted it in the wrong thread.Showbag said:Well, no-one except for the all seeing mods saw it.I was right in the middle of a teleconference at work researched my pick to stop myself falling asleep. I've had a look and only a handful have.
sog35 said:I can't see 12 hours being the solution though. What if the last pick is at 5:30pm and the only time you can log on is at work. Your 12 hours ends at 5:30am.
People should try and do lists, but this is what may happen when you do an offline draft. But I much prefer it to the prerankings.
My suggestion is that if your time on the clock starts after 5pm you have until 2pm (end of standard lunch break - eastern standard time) to make your pick. Then we keep picking and after 5 picks you are assigned the highest remaining Yahoo ranked player.
