Maybe you got a copy with the same key as another person, if that is the case then that person only activated it once, so you used it the 2nd time and it would work. However Im not sure about this, You said you were going to buy the game ever after I said it wouldn't work. This just a troll?
 
I'm pretty sure the registration servers are back up, i just tried registering my game on a new PC and it went through without a hitch.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I'm up to the list lodgement part of the off season, game says I have 18 open spots where I need 3-15, yet I can't seem to sign anyone, as the error keeps popping up that I have 18 open spots on my list.

That happened to me once, go to options and put assistant do signings/delistings or whatever it is, but I think you load up your game again, if you saved it at the day where you need to do the delistings then I think it won't work, but if you last saved it before that day, just tick the assistant option and it should work.

Also, what was going on with the activation, im guessing its back on because a guy bought it a week ago and it didn't work for him so I gave him my code. Does that link where you activate your code work now?
 
Decided to upload my save game where im up to 2069 (The one which I posted a little history of a few pages back) so people can see the history and continue on if they like. It is at the end of the season, just before trade week and currently coaching Carlton.

If you don't have a decent computer that can sim games/seasons in around 10-20 minutes then you shouldn't really download this, the game takes some time to load (around 3 minutes for me but I have a really fast computer) and it also takes some time going to the next season.

You also need to add this to your master.xml file inside the Data folder otherwise the game save won't appear when you choose load game.

Had the game for a few months and so far in my main file (only at the end of my 6th season as I also spent the first few years actually playing out the matches) I've had my share of ups and downs

2011: Adelaide (Finished 2nd and made the Grand Final only to lose to Geelong)
2012: Adelaide (Finished 2nd again but lost the Grand Final to Collingwood)
2013: Adelaide (Finished 2nd at the end of the minor round but lost a Preliminary Final to Hawthorn. Essendon won the flag)
2014: Adelaide (Finally went the distance, beating Essendon in the Grand Final)
2015: Adelaide (Made the top four again but dropped the Preliminary to West Coast, who went on to lose the big one against Essendon)
2016: Geelong (I decided upon Geelong as they ended up getting the spoon in the previous year... Unfortunately, I only managed to get one win with Sydney being the unfortunate victims but somehow kept my job)
2017: Geelong (Hopefully, I can at least look like I have a chance of making the 8 this season... I don't have my hopes up though)

Some guy said he bought it a few days ago and it worked. You can buy it if you want, if it doesn't work, take a pic of the cover and disc and show me for proof that you have bought it and I'll give you my code to play the game, but you need to change an internet setting to make it work because I went over the 2 computer limit.

Cheers mate. Yeah thats what I saw that made me wonder if it was worth trying to buy. I might try that.

Does that method definitely work? Would you be able to provide the code to more than one person?

Yes, I have helped many people use their code over the limit, I also used it myself. I have given my code to some people who bought the game but couldn't activate their code. If you need help let me know.

Been playing around with save game files seeing if I could edit the fixtures and move dates around, I can edit the fixtures to make them the real 2011 fixture, however can't add/remove rounds along with move dates around.

Looked around for some other stuff aswell, I can get the regional club player folders and edit them to make them an AFL Player with their ratings as they were when they were a regional player. What I can do with this is make a reserves AFL list where the West Coast team would be a WAFL team, Collingwood would be its VFL team, Hawks would be Box Hill. Anyone want me to do it?

Downloaded the game again after having gotten the urge to play it again. I still have the original email with the download link and the registration code. Unfortunately, like others it says I've reached the license limit, and I was just wondering if somebody could message me telling me how to get around this? Cheers.

Well, out of boredom I decided to start a game using Port Adelaide (2012 roster pack) and after two seasons of bottom four I went into trade week deciding to cut most of my less useful 25 y.o+ guys loose. I advanced time to see what offers would come up and one of them was the most single lopsided idiocy-- I mean, trade in the history of... well, anything:

Gold Coast offered Gary Ablett in a straight-swap for Robbie Gray

I immediately went back on my original resolve due to said deal being one you'd be insane to refuse (or make for that matter but, hey... Clearly it happens)

That's now brings me to ask everyone here this question: What is the biggest "Train robbery" you guys have gotten away with during trade week in this game?

Chris Judd for Chris Dawes when i was using the standard rosters....

Dawes is actaully really good in PC2011, if you need a foward, then he would be a good pickup, usually boots 70+ goals. Every career you play, the same players get traded, often you see Colin Sylvia get traded in the first season, and then DalSanto, Montagna and Goddard get traded after 1-2 seasons, and similiar with Ablett.
