Pretenders!

I wrote in my Bigfooty Preview for the Port Adelaide v Richmond game that Port were contenders and Richmond were pretenders.

Seems my judgement was correct.

I must say though there is much to like about the Richmond Football Club particularly if you are not interested in finals footy.

Matthew Richardson probably sums up the Richmond Football Club pretty well, shows so much promise but delivers so little when the club really needs it.

When it comes to qualifying for finals football, Richmond are the weakest link.

With no finals football coming up for you guys this season I suppose I should say goodbye until next season.

I choose to ignore comments like that and once again point out that real supporters barrack for their own team instead of putting others down. Sorry if I've said that before and it's getting boring.

I think it is great that you can ignore all of this criticism but don't you think it would be better if your club took a little bit of this on board. Those that don't listen don't learn and keep on doing the same mistakes.

Richmond have continually done this and seem to be going down the same track, but if you like to finish 9th every year fair enough!

The Richmond Football Club has a great legion of supporters that many clubs would love to have, the problem is the players under achieve and the Richmond supporters deserve so much more.

Good luck for the rest of the season but if you miss out again I would be (if I was a supporter of your club) be very pissed off!
