Jackson played like rubbish last week I am glad they are not letting him glide through with bad form and play in the 1's. He doesn't have enough natural talent to do that. Also a few more mature bodies against the Saints.

Re: Changes for Round 21

Jackson was horrible last week....needs a wake up thats why!

Maybe, but has been one of our better players this year and dropping him in round 21 does SFA IMO. I reckon it might be because he's due to belt someone and get reported:D

Jackson ... wtf?

Who is going to run with either Montagna, Hayes, Goddard, Dal Santo etc?

Leg Injury for Jackson. I didn't think he would be dropped.

Hopefully back for rd 22 game where I give us a chance v port. :thumbsu:

Pattison has been named for the Saints, be interesting to see how he goes up against Graham. White & Jackson are both out with the Punt Rd leg, Nason Browne & Hicks are all omitted.

Looks like Hardwick has realised that we're up against it so just wants to see how a few players go against one of the real contenders.

Ah, is it the dreaded Richmond-Hardwick leg injury?

We would get smashed with any team we put out on the park vs St Kilda. Experimenting just means we will lose by 15 goals instead of 10. May as well try out the list and some players.

Only selection that is odd is Browne out. Was going okay and we only have 1 ruckman who is carrying a rib injury IIRC. Nahas gonna ruck?

Good to see less short people and better structure.

why is everyone jumping on nahas hes had a bad year but there is 5-10 other players id delist b4 him, unless we get a good trade for him we should keep him!

the only issue i have with nahas is his kicking for goal,. its shocking

i dont normally like to bag new/young players but why would anyone expect hicks not to get dropped, hes done NOTHING!!!

lets compare the 2

hicks averages only 2 tackles a game
nahas this year has averaged 4.6 tackles

hicks averages 6 disposals a game
nahas averages 11.5 disposals a game

hicks averages 0.3 goals
nahas averages 0.9 goals a game

now i know nahas has played alot more footy and im all for giving the kids a go but nahas is still young and still has a HUGE upside... im sick of players having a bad season and everyone jumping on them, our whole team is crap expect a handful of players thats why we are 15th

love the way everyone though morton couldnt make it and we should trade him at years end coz hes shit and at coburg yet when we find out he asked to go back to work on being in the midfield everyone changes and loves him now

We haven't beaten the saints since 2003, long time.

It's gonna get longer...

Re Hicks, a bit disappointed but he is young and will be there next year.
Reckon this is Nahas' "chance".

Wrapt to see Taylor again... Reckon he may surprise a few.

NOT just his goalkicking that is poor, it's his disposal in general.
Nahas is a trier, no doubt.
I commend his defensive efforts and work-rate - his tackling is first class.
But honestly, he might as well not lay a tackle if his 4.6 or 5 tackles results in five free kicks for a return of zero goals, four behinds and one on the full!!!
Being a trier simply don't cut the mustard in today's game of professional footballer, you need more and multiple strings to your bow!!!
DELIST!
