[Big Blow Hard]

Just sat down and watched this on DVD.

Must say I quite enjoyed it. As I do with most crime/corruption police tales. It is no The Departed, but good performances from Ed Norton (as always) and Colin Farrell see it through.

Probably will draw comparisons to The Departed, and We Own the Night as far as recent police stories. But for mine, not a bad flick. But also not memorable.

About 6.5/10 from me.

Anyone else seen it yet?

 

[The Boy From Brasil]

I saw it at the movies last week. For some reason this movie has had limited release in cinemas.

I really enjoyed it. Acting was excellent, and it goes hand in hand with the current series of Underbelly where half the force are on the take.
