He's allowed an opinion for goodness sake. And perhaps his involvement in both clubs means he is more qualified to understand the Port Adelaide viewpoint on tradition and the Collingwood viewpoint of the sancticity of their jumper.For what it’s worth I don’t think the 2004 flag is the main reason for him not supporting the PBs as much as you’d expect, his Collingwood connections could be a reason but I’m doubtful of that, it’s just it’s frustrating to see the Williams family treat the jumper (and the club) as a family heirloom that they can dictate. Fos Williams stands head and shoulders above everyone at Port Adelaide, but no individual is bigger than the club, and the jumper predates his Port career by 48 years. The level of entitlement here is annoying to see.
