[bump]

Funny how this follow up didn't get front page, or any mention in the sports press.

In a show of loyalty, Mr Debney cited what he called the "disproportionate focus on Richard Pratt as chairman" for sparking the decision, and claimed personal responsibility for breaking trade practice laws.

Truth?
Took one for the team?

Who knows, but the tabloids won't worry about delving too deep.........it might just be true!
Then where would that leave their mudslinging?;)

Thats pretty much the truth. I'm not suggesting Pratt didn't know about it but my understanding of it is that Debney and others bear the practical responsibility for starting up and continuing the arrangement.

My understanding is it wasn't even Debney who masterminded it all, rather it was Amcor who initiated the whole thing.

This article needs to be shoved down Kevin Bartlett's neck, rolled up tight and straight down the peice of sh-t's throat.

It was Amcor who originally drove the idea, but that doesn't make Visy any less culpable.

Essentially what happened was that Amcor blew the whistle on Visy and thus avoided prosecution by the ACCC. So Amcor get away scot free, Visy get fined, and both get the ass sued out of them in a civil suit.
