Here are some observations of mine:

1 - When was the last time we played 4 solid qtrs of football? We can't seem to put together a 4 qtr effort together. Its been a while since the last one.

2 - Our 4 to 5 year players are average. Douglas, Van Berlo, Knights, Vince, Symes etc.... Not doing enough IMO.

3 - Our coach thinks he coaches the Italian national soccer team. We dominate, take a handy lead and then he decides to go defensive. Doesn't work in Aussie Rules Craigy.

4 - McLeod is playing for himself now. Content just to get the record of games. He HAS been a brilliant player for us but his time is up.

5 - Moran is useless. Get rid of him. Doughty can join him too.

I could go on and on.

I just hope Craigy doesn't f*ck up the development of the up and coming players like Walker, Dangerfield, Petrenko, Otten, McKay etc... I'm just worried his defensive approach will not allow these players to fully express themselves.

We kick too much

In the first half on the weekend we had 30 more handballs than kicks, looked entertaining and were unlucky to not be dominating on the scoreboard

In the second half our gameplan fell apart and we had more kicks than handballs.

Rubbish.

Nobody was running or making space in the second, there was nobody to hand ball to, so we had to kick it longer.

Spot on - Our workrate was sensational in the first half. We really should have blown the game away but for missed goals ( Kurt n Bernie) and a last minute lapse.

Whatever happened to "training" a half time break? As ridiculous as that concept sounded it certainly worked early on last year. It was as if we'd had a drinks spiked because our run and work for each other vanished like a fa rt in a fan factory.
