i really love the gold coast track. was in the indycar 1 expansion pack in 96 (?) , been there twice to cheer on michael andretti in the champ cars, and from memory was the track that introduced me to that class.

probably not that popular in oz, but i'd love to see a handful of oval tracks too.

I dont mind Oval tracks, but the skill level req is low (in gaming terms)

yeah there's not much to them a lot of the time. i always struggled in the nascar titles though. however i was still using a keyboard back then.

I find they are best in long distance races... I would love a good hour long session with pit changes. Not sure how popular it would be online though

Had a 16 player race at Bathurst , everyone using BMW M3 GT3 , all assists on . The most fun I've had playing a video game since COD4 multiplayer.

I've been playing DriveClub a little lately, but I'm keen on getting a sim type racer. Have heard nothing but good things about Project Cars so as soon as I have a spare $70 or so I'll be grabbing it. Going by all the videos I've seen it looks very good.

I've switched to manual, find it gives you much more control around tight corners. Sometimes auto leaves you a gear too high for corners so you can't take off with any speed as you come out of it. Even if you manually drop it down, it still sometimes kicks it back up before you want it to.

I remapped it to the right thumbstick, so I can flick up and down to change them.

I tried the right joystick for manual and it wadnt changing well/consistently.. do you need the clutch?

Nah, no clutch. Just got to be gentle with the touches. Quick flicks up and down sometimes rebound enough to switch back the other way. Every now and then it still stuffs up for me and leaves me swearing at it.

lol yeh it's a frustrating game.. I drove down to get it. go karts are the bane of my existence

What's this game like, only got a ps4 not long ago, got drive club with my ps4 and enjoyed it somewhat while it has been somewhat boring and limited for mine.

What's this game like

It's great, but not for everyone. If you're into braking points, gentle acceleration around corners and mastering different tracks and cars, it's awesome. If you just want to hit full throttle and gun it around a track, you're gonna have a bad time.
