Since about 3/4 of the way through the third quarter I sat stunned at what was happening and continued right up until the last Whistle.

However Today two fine football teams went at it hammer and tong, two proud, committed clubs never refused to die all day.

We had West Coast on the ropes at half time, they had us on the ropes in the third quarter and half way through the last quarter we got to our feet as the KO count got to 9.

I am proud at the way we never gave in despite being overun at times and looking spent.

Our Players dug deep just as West Coasts did earlier in the day and at the start of the last Quarter,Our Players payed us back big time for the way we dig deep to follow them.

Hey some had off days, some made mistakes but they kept trying there hearts out.
On the scoreboard we lost but in terms of culture and spirit we never did.

Someone had to lose today,I said on forums and in person that this game had the potential to be an absolute cracker and the way both clubs performed it certainly was.

Our Players sing the song "We are the Pride of South Australia" well so are we to have that club play for us.

Yep we should be proud of them, they gave it their all but were just beaten by a better team. Im sure they apreciated the applause from the crowds as they wandered off this arvo.

Proud, but left wondering at why. Why we continued to let there midfield run rampant in the 2nd half. Why we showed no heart between the 2nd minute of the 3rd quarter and the 25h minute of the 4th. Why Edwards couldn't hit a target with hand or by foot. Why we kept on trying to put our fellow team mates under further pressure by handballing to them whilst already being tackled. I was proud of what we achived in the first 60 minutes, but we didn't want it. The loss of Biglands crippled us, but that's no excuse for poor execution of simple skills. I am angry but proud.

Guys - I dont mean to come in and rub it in when it hurts most - not my objective. I just want to say that I think WCE would have beaten most sides today. The running provided byt their gun midfielders was just stunning.

COusins is a dead set machine. His 'gut running' is unbelievable.. Kerr = special and need i not Mention Judd.

Your boys tried hard and looked in a good position at half time - perhaps they thought they could coast in the 2nd half (pardon the pun) - i doubt it tho - They were just overun and outplayed.

you should keep most of the squad together next season. Add a fit roo, macca, birdman, and an ever improving Bock you should be back amongst it next year...

I disagree with quite a fair bit that comes out of your mouth but on this occasion, you have it dead right Arsene. I agree, fair call mate.:thumbsu:
