PS3 JailBreak

As most people would know that own a ps3 is the new Jailbreak that unlocks your Ps3 and lets your play back-ups of the "DISK you own". a lot of people have seem to see this as GOOD NEWS ! well i for one think it's the worst thing they have ever brought out.

At first i thought oh wicked back up me games. so i went and brought a $120 usb board to try this out and spot on it works. But now that i have brought this i don't wanna upgrade or i would of wasted my money.

Now to not upgrade i am not aloud to play online with one of my Fav games in call of duty MW2 which is almost sky rocketed to my Number 1 fav game of all time. (big call).

What are other peoples thoughts about this Ps3 Jail break.

*been so close to upgrading losing online is a MASSIVE not to have.

Well if all the backed up games are ones you own, I don't see the problem with upgrading then. Just sell the USB thing, but the fact that you seem so hesitant leaves the impression that you have several pirated games on there, and some you don't actually own and therefore don't want to lose.

I have backed up Mafia 2 that i got off a mate and it don't faze me if i lost the back ups' i have a xbox 360 for that kinda stuff , but i have heard if you update with the jail break installed you can get banned and blocked

You can and do. I think he's just saying that he has the 360 for it as he probably doesn't pay for XBL, so therefore no issue and he knows the potential ramifications. With PS3 and free PSN there's different situations.
