PS3 Problem

Have a problem with my ps3. Since i bought it, when i turn it on it powers but it doesn't come up on the screen. If i turn it off and on back again the second time then it will come up on the screen but i'm not sure why it doesn't come up the first time..

Anyone know what the problem is?

I am using the Red, White and Yellow Av Cable btw. I will try on the LCD when i get it this week.

Hmm thats strange. Try connecting it to a different AV input on the TV. Failing that, see if you can get your hands on a new AV cable.

If problem still persists, ring Sony.

This happens to me when I change between the HDMI cable, and the standard AV cables. It has to adjust to the new settings. Try holding down the power button until you hear a second beep, that makes it adjust.

Your problem is that it isn't set on the right Display settings, what happens when you push the power button is that it changes from one setting to another.

I found this out when going from the AV one to HDMI.

What you need to do is once you get the picture up, go to the display settings and set it to the last one I think it is called AV Scart/something, thats the one you need it set to, then change the Audio to the same setting, and you should be fine.
