As to what I am thinking, the club has implied many times and explicitly stated a couple of times we WON'T draft him. Live with it.

i know we want youth but a real talent in ben cousins is there. i think we should pick him up and see what happens. if he stuffs up sack him we have plenty of youngsters that can come up.

ive been saying for ages we should take cousins and now richmond have say its highly unlikely...we should pounce...he would be awesome in the red and black...big upsides for us having him there....teach the young guys ethic on the track and mentor the young mids...he would be invaluable there...if he stuffs up get ride of him but i doubt he will...sen said tonight there are hundreds of sms,s rumouring him to us so fingers crossed...whats everyone else thinking???

Someone mentioned Christian Bock (brother of Nathan) in a previous post, i like the look of him as a rookie.
Looks the epitome of a beanpole ruckman at 205cm and 85 kg, but his highlights package looks more promising to me than other really tall ruckmen taken in the ND (Zach Clarke, Luke Lowden etc.).
One worth having on the list i reckon...

I feel sorry for the kid, has some raw potential.

Showed some real enthusiasm and goal kicking smarts in the Champs but still didn't get drafted. That's the story for many of the undrafted kids though, harsh reality.

No window looks open at the moment for Ben, that's quite right.

But the feeling inside me still remains that someone will take the punt.

We're just going to have to wait 'till PSD day to find out if indeed my instincts are on the money.
