He can't mean Sumich, surely.

Nah - then he would have said, "there's one up Woosha's arse".

As voodoo said, he's never mentioned a name, but the money is on "Broadbridge" being the answer to his riddles.

Well, you wouldn't argue with Yak. He's the man.

Having Schofield ready to go should be good incentive for some young buck wanting to make a name for himself to work harder.

Depth is good. How you get that depth doesn't really matter. What matters is how the freaks on your list react to it.

Depth is good. Competition is good. Paying players over market price is not.

Not saying that is the case, but we do know that the Kanga's are probably going to pass on him because he has priced himself out of their market. So he is definetly not coming home on minimum payment.

50c per week and a half eaten bag of chips when he plays would probably price him out of the kangas range.
All due respect to a great fighting club... but this is the mob who couldn't afford a rookie list last year...

But is Schofield really worth more than a minimum contract given the current list?

Hope he proves me wrong.

i think he is, as long as we can fit everyone within the salary cap.

Actually they have plenty of room in their salary cap to fit him in, so don't get too far ahead of yourself.

Are you Broadbrige's brother or something?

You've been harping on about him even before we got him, calling him our next coach etc.

If i'm mistaken feel free to correct, but you've never once mentioned his name, only ever semi-secretively dropped the hint. Why?

I think the Yak may be referring to one Garry Hocking

IP is refering to the financial status of the club rather than the salary cap. Anyway, do you think the Kangas would see enough value in him to meet his asking price (given that he has put this price up to get back to WA)?

Why would the kangas want a player that doesn't want to play with them.

serious question here... are they actually allowed to pay it all, or are they restricted to 95% or something while they are still getting AFL handouts?

They are currently operating on 97% and I am not aware of any condition that would prevent them from extending that. Nice to see you and the others interested in the Kanga's.
