Yep crazy band, best aussie metal band ever. SoTA was just unbelievable. Symbols of Failure is great, but SoTA was better. In fact many people overseas rate them the best tech-death band on the planet...

fired him, not sure why, chalky was brilliant though, listen to psycrology near the end he changes his tone nearly every bar.

Must have been some serious issues there then, because he was so damn good on SoTA.

Any of you guys listen to Necrophagist? Very similar to Psycroptic, just as tight too. I can only take my tech-death in pretty small doses, it's usually a coin toss between Necrophagist and Psycroptic now. Nile still gets the odd look in

Necrophagist are wicked, Suicmez is nuts! i like psycroptic a lil bit more though. but the best technical death metal band is The Faceless, i advise any metalhead who have not heard them immediately listen to their album 'akeldama'

Yep great aussie tech death outfit. Dave Haley is a maestro on the drums, hugely respected in both the local and overseas scene. Chalky was a monster on stage, really liked his offbeat vocal delivery. Top bloke too. Their first album Isle of Disenchantment was a great debut from a death metal band out of Tassie.

Have been getting heavily into Necrophagist too. Alarum from Melbourne toured with them through the states last year.
