This is starting to look like the Richmond board with the way we are getting into our own players.

We are two rounds into the NAB cup and already we have threads declaring were still crap and the year is already over, Marc Murphy is going backwards, Jordan Russel and Eddie Betts are finished, and Fev can't kick for sh*t...

Plenty of positives to concentrate on, including the fact that for the best part of three quarters we outplayed the best young list in the league (and yes I know who was sitting on the bench for the hawks).

Were all excited about the year ahead, but a little patience wouldn't go astray.

Good post Kramer, I think that we are all a little nervous because of the expectations we have put our players under. I think we are getting ahead of ourselves, because it was Pagan (that should be swear filtered) who wanted to do well in the Pre-season cup, I am sure we havent gone out all guns blazing against a great young Hawks team, in the NAB cup.

Calm down, wait untill round 5 then your judgements can be made about players and strategies.

It is only days but a few things that i have already noticed.

Gibbs = plenty of time when he has the ball and delivers with poise.
Russell = delist if the improvement doesn't come. Use his only asset to best suit the team (that is kicking)
Ruck = lot of work to be done here. Hampson will be better than Kruezer and he will be special as well.
Defence = to many mistakes with the same blokes down there. Get t-bird out of there. Jamo looks good as does Grigg. Austin and Bower will continue to improve. Scotland is a very good player but doesn't penetrate more than 35 metres.
Mids = will be our strength in years to come.

Forwards are o.k. - i have only just begun. There will be more posts to come
