i know it is only round 2 and i am completely getting ahead of myself. but.............

i was having a look at our first nine games and my first thoughts were "you beauty". obviously we already have a one great win under our belts and we have the future games:

Fremantle Dome
although we are underdogs we are all quietly confident

Carlton MCG
we would expect to beat the blues

St Kilda Dome
we will be underdogs but they have lost the two men who would take lloyd and lucas. we haven't played badly against them over the years

Collingwood MCG
we would expect to beat the pies

Hawthorn MCG
we would expect to beat the hawks

Kangaroos Dome
we would expect to beat the roos

Brisbane Lions Dome
if we hold brown we should win

Richmond MCG
we would expect to beat the tigers

now obviously injuries can play their part, but we should have good start to the season. we probably aren't going to win every game, but even a 7-2 or 6-3 start to the season would be great

It is certainly a good run, but one of the problems with that is that it can be easy to drop a game we should win in there. It's a great chance to build some confidence early in the season much as Collingwood did last year.

Definitely some winnable games in there; but I don't want to get too far ahead of myself and end up getting disappointed when it doesn't end up coming true; so it will just be one game at a time for me.

I like where you have put we would expect to beat the Blues . You havnt leant have you Every year we come up against them and most years they beat us once. Add to that the fact that they are an improved side (which for reasons i dont understand not many want to admit it).Always a 50/50 game against the Blues.

Yep, to me, Carlton is the hardest game of that lot. We also seem to have problems with North, and the Saints of late.

One week at a time - gotta love the old cliche'. Freo will be a very tough, but I think winnable game. Let's go from there.

We certainly do have a winning formula....our only enemy is ourselves. We drop our gameplan, ruin our endeavour with poor disposal, and we self destruct. Yes, theyre winnable, however....definitely losable also.

Man i just hope ess defeats freo for now, two in a row against adelaide and freo is already too good, love to see it happen then move on to the other teams
