he is obviously wanted for his abilities, and obviously to get into neil craigs mind.

He was talking on 5AA tonight and is an eloquent intelligent man. I was intrigued by his comment that he went into an assistant coaching role to expand his knowledge, experience and abilities in coaching. He later went on to say that his future opportunities weren't necessarily in football.

It made me wonder what he meant by that.

He'll stay if he believes that he has more to learn. if not why would you choose the saints anyway better off seeing what else comes up.

I just took it as that he has opportunities in business. Pyke is a very astute businessman and I took it as he is still deciding whether to stay in Football or go back into other business adventures.

Reading between the lines, if he decides to stay in football circles he will stay with the Crows.

well him going back into business is much better for the AFC than him joining another club. glad he likes the crows.

if he does mvoe back to business, he would still have a place in many players hearts so would be welcome at the club every now and then to pass on his wealth of advice.

certainly heard many positive things about his influence at the AFC.

but that is exactly how a large proportion of high level executive jobs are obtained in the real world. in fact, the current head of M&S UK actually hired a PR firm to push his case for that job.
