Big ask for Haradasun IMO,Ist try at 2000m,3rd Gp 1 in 3 weeks.
Can only guess they want the HOTY title,this would certainly give him a hope.
Anyone know why Nash is back on Haradasun? Is Boss suspended?

altough desert war hasnt had an ideal lead up i think he is extremely hard to get past between 1600-2000m in sydney, if he gets an easy lead he will be in it for a long long way!!

there is not one of the other 10 horses who will even put one bit of pressure on Desert War until at least the 600m at the earliest.

race will be long over by that time.

Bossy is suspended, Seth. I heard an interview with him on SEN today stating that. But he appears confident that he'll be first choice to ride him the spring.

Good luck getting him off,I reckon he's got a monkey on the back after his RTW Cox Plate ride.

Just had a glance at the recent history of this race,some big names have been beaten as faves in recent history.
Obviously we remember Lonhro but others include Sunline & Octagonal.

3yo's have an awful recent record,last 3yo to win was Intergaze in 99.

Haradasun will be no value on race day. Great horse but too many questions on the back of a 5 day break... never ran the distance... etc

I think there are a lot more experience campaigners who will deal with him tomorrow. He'll get there one day.

Im hoping he wins but has history stacked against him.
No horse has ever won the Ryder/Doncaster/QE treble.
Truly a champion 3yo if he achieves this in under 10 runs.

Can you see it seth? I honestly cant.

However there must be some merit to his case looking at the odds... I see him as a good horse... with a massive future... but not in this race, over that distance (at the moment, yes he will do it easy later on).

Just those questions, on top of the 5 day break... endless ability and a massive future which is why the punters get on him... but I dont see any value at all... will wait and see what goes down.

Wow,was that a race to watch.
Those true WFA races with pace on are fantastic.
BMW was a farce really compared to that.

Not quite sure what to think but history gets it right again.
Take nothing away from the 3yo,he went as good as he could go.
