Question about quaddies

say i have a quaddie and have 3 horses in 1 leg and 1 is a late scratching. i believe you will usually get a sub (next favourite?) but what happens if you already have the next top pick ???

Everyone gets the sub so although you've already chosen it,you get it again.
Say you have a 50c quaddie,you end up with that combination for $1
