Im thinking about heading up to the match against GWS, what bay or area is our cheersquad in?
They are in the block with 4 people sitting in it, not 3.

We have a mobile cheersquad up that way don't we? Plenty of room to move, so you can just follow the ball around the ground.

Just checked the figures...GWS have a greater home crowd average than Gold Coast.
GWS do have the second lowest home figures in the league.
Our Home figures this year is on average greater than Geelong's home average...despite the consistent dross we've thrown up.
Suprised me too that Carlton and Essendon both have maintained a good turnout.

Bit unfair on Geelong given their home ground at the moment barely holds 25k.

Try to be as unfair to Geelong as often as I can. However the 43k extra fans they got for a home MCG game against Hawthorn evens it out. I know their capacity is only 27k at the moment.

If it's like most other matches, the opposition cheer squad will be at the 'far' end of the ground when you come in - the end with the big TV screen.

You'll be fine with a General Admission ticket.

One thing - if you are going to the Freo supporters area, dont be like those soft Hawks supporters and be utterly silent through the whole game. Remember to sledge Tom $cully, ask where McCarthy is, tell Toby Greene he's a punchable git and so on :)

If only all GWS fans were like you, to many of them seem like toby greene wannabes and just seem to be asking for a punch in the head, you sir can stay lol

I know we're sitting in the normal away end so that helps thanks!

And don't worry, our away cheersquad is well renowned for being extremely noisy

I'll be heading up for this game. I'm getting my ticket through the club so i have no idea what bay we will be sitting in.

I usually just watch some highlights of a previous GWS home game and have a look for the pockets of Away fans.
Guess I'll see you at another random venue Seppo. Currently working up here on secondment, so will be heading to the game before the Bledisloe.

Hope I'm not intruding but there is generally plenty of room to move around. You are expected to keep in the are these days though. Hard to judge the crowd my guess on this seasons numbers would be 12k in a 25k stadium. Opposition supporters definitely welcome and provide armosphere. Think you'll find a good little ground
