How do you display those message things (whatever they are called) in your posts? For example ShinbonerBaz with his 'Proud initiator of the *'. How do you do that?

It's called a signature, if you click on your own username at the top of the Bigfooty page you will see one of the options is Signature. Type in what you like there and it comes up at the bottom of every post.

Mine is also a link (if you click on it, it takes you to whatever page you link to). Not sure if you needed that last bit, but I can explain further if you want me to.
