I'm waiting for Ron Joseph, the Brayshaw's, Archer and Pagan to outline their 5-10 year plan and direction before I commit anything to the Roos. This should happen in the next few weeks.

I am sure Joseph is powerful and connected enough for the Roos to stay in Melbourne. If he can't do it, nobody can.

And if Archer backs it, then I'll support the Roos. I'm not sure about a membership, but maybe chip in cash.

If the bulldogs, Hawks, and Richmond could survive, North can do it too.

The Roos (importantly NOT North Melbourne), will survive by relocating.

Admittedly they can be similarly compared to the Doggies with their supporter number issues and the diehards will fight hard to keep them in Melb. But like Tankton, I think they will need to find a rich stooge to come to the party. But will need to act very fast finding one with a big enough bank account! Allen Aylett is for the move (and his son is the CEO!)

By relocating they keep their name, jumper and history, and therefore whole identity. Just simply will be based in a different city. The competition is national and they will still play plenty of games in Melbourne for their supporters to attend.

They have less than 30 days now to decide whether they want to clean out all their debt and get preferential treatment for years from the AFL, a new supporter base, including all the Gold Coast kids, like mine, who I will have to fight to make sure he becomes a Tiger!

Sorry SLF, accept the inevitable, sentiment has no place in this business now!

I agree.

From what I understand, there are some pretty big irons in fires as we speak.
