Hey guys,
Just a quick question to settle an argument with myself and a friend. Can an AFL player reenter themselves into the National Draft or the Rookie draft if they had delisted/retired from AFL level within the past 3 years?
We've spent all afternoon arguing it and finding it difficult to find a clear cut answer.
I'm sure one of you guys out there will have enough knowledge about this.

Thanks in advance

Gerry

"If I nominated for the NAB AFL Draft last year, do I need to nominate again?

No. Once you have nominated, your application remains valid for three years. You only need to nominate again if your last nomination was lodged in, or before, 2012 or you are no longer on an AFL Primary or Rookie list.

I am no longer on a Primary or Rookie list
of an AFL Club but want to continue playing AFL football. What do I do?

You will have to re-nominate for the Draft. "
