Hi all,

Just got a few questions..

1. Why if a player kicks a goal like Tippett, runs off to the bench?
I reckon keep him on field, he's was on fire..!!! Don't lose the momentum..

2. Sam Reid, love the guy,
But should he wear some grip gloves.? Are they still allowed.? Dropped a few marks at crucial times..

3. GOODES, why was he replaced.? Did he get injured.?

Swans showed tonight they are the Real Deal..

Goodes didn't look right. I think his knee was troubling him tonight. Will have to be managed carefully for the rest of the year I think

For q 1. When Tippett kicked his goal and ran to the bench, he was replaced by Goodes. So I think it was a bit of strategy, keeping things constantly changing so the defenders don't figure out a pattern. Good for flexibility

Apparently the heading off after kicking a goal thing is often something along the lines of: a players has set rotations for the game, they're meant to be coming off but the ball is in the attacking 50 so they stay on, they kick the goal and then take the opportunity to do the rotation they were meant to have done a minute ago.

Dunno how true that is, but that's how it was explained to me once.

I actually think Reids hands are improving. He took some quality grabs, mostly up the ground. He misses them in F50. Not sure if he just panics.

1. was done deliberately, its to **** with the other teams backline as it makes it harder to adjust to a fwd line that is constantly changing. the effect's have been more prominent now teams only have one runner, but it has happened for years.

2. grip gloves were given an overhaul in rue changes a few years ago so they "shouldn't" have an advantage anymore, but given that they affect the ball drop and sam's role it would not be effective. (plus I'm pretty sure your not allowed to take them off anymore either) it would take sam quite some time to get used to playing in gloves and I'm sure long mire would before a few dropped balls to errant kicks.

3. looked gassed and his knee might have been hurting, nothing more then Preventive Maintenance.
