A few of us are flying over for the Sydney v Freo game (8 July). What's the go with tickets at the SCG? Do you need to book or is it a walk up start?

Thanks

You'll defininitely want to book. They go on sale to the public on June 14th. There are public seats but with the limited capacity I wouldn't be relying on anything being available at the gate. Long way to come to watch the tv in a pub.

Oddly enough, back in round 3, we were missing 5000 members!

But yeah, you MUST purchase tickets beforehand, or you'll miss it! Its a Sunday arvo game (and also the school holidays here), so you would expect a full house!

And expect to pay a bit too.

There are no general entry tickets this year at the SCG and the cheapest seat is $29 (adult price) - "restricted view".

If you want a premium seat you'll find yourself paying around $70.

I only ever go to one ground these days for any non-Swans games. The MCG. Waaaay too expensive anywhere else. Wouldn't your Freo membership get you in free? Or is it a Perth based membership? Or are you not paid up at all?

Membership only covers the 11 home games at Subi.

If I have to pay $70 I will watch it at the pub!! Wallabies tickets have already cost me $100 or so.
