OK, we have found something and removed it. Nobody's BigFooty data was vulnerable - WordPress isn't connected to Xenforo.

It does say we have no application firewall but we do have a WAF on the WordPress install.

I've been in and out of the blog multiple times a day and haven't gotten any infection on my local machine.

As always keep your antivirus up to date, use a password manager like www.BitWarden.com which means you can use strong passwords, and if you still feel worried, download and run this free scanner:

It's just data in a database so it is possible. I'm not likely to put resources into that though, sorry. Not to mention any threads you started would also be deleted.

I am having an issue when I try to reply or quote to a post from my samsung tablet.



When I click outside the replied message in the posting box, it automatically puts the typing cursor in the post I am replying too. It won't let me select outside this post.

Any suggestions

I get a similar issue at work but only on some tweets which I am assuming using the X domain which my workplace would naturally filter out

Yes as widely recognised, they have generally turned it into chook lotto whether you will see what was posted.

Using Chrome on Android (Pixel 7), BF usage results in constant "Chrome isn't responding" messages and occasionally "System UI" errors, that seem to make my phone reset.

Hey mate. Negative. Just enters through the post I am trying to reply to or quote.
If I hit undo it goes back to normal but then I try and select to reply to post and it automatically places the cursor inside the post I'm trying to reply to again.

You can get around some of these Chrome issues by hitting the plain text toggle top right of the post:


It might be under a 3-dot drop down option depending on your browser.

Delete your BigFooty cookies - not sure why it happens but that fixes it. Chrome is Chrome and should be avoided, in my humble opinion.

Yes its Chrome and on my laptop

The latest border ad for Olympic Plasma donations is now hijacking the page

Previously the border advertising has created dramas but I have mostly found workarounds - but this is impossible and the only workaround ( annoying AF) is to get out of the page

Open page start scrolling - in a few moments the border ad opens and my screen reverts to the top of the page - ok start scrolling back down and it simply stops the scroll and reverts to the top of the page - again and again and again

As noted the only way is to click into another unread topic and hope it doesnt happen again

One post last night I got to typing a response and it hijacked me back to the top of the page - luckily clicking the unread post item returned me back and my typing was still there

I have had a couple of weird issues but I thought it was my local connection. Are you able to see other sites at that time?
