Arch, I like Donnie Edwards. Actually I'm happy with Chiefs linebackers in general. I don't know if any of them are super stars or anything. I thought that Fantasy Football was geared so as you picked an entire defense rather than individuals? I don't know. It has been a while since I have looked at it. I know that I don't care to participate in it.

Historically, the Chiefs have had a very strong Defense and a "hammer ahead, run-by-commitee" offense. It is going to be different for at least as long as we have Vermeil. The situation with the special teams is going to have to change very soon.

I'm sorry your Jets are sucking. I have nothing against them as they are AFC East, and I don't feel threatened by them this year as a potential Wild Card competitor. I think the important thing about being a fan of sport is to stick with your team. It makes a long awaited winning year particularly sweet. I am delighted (as a first year Tiger/first year AFL fan) that Richmond has done so well.

Carb: We do have excellent WR's, but - other than Snoops catch - they made no impact in the Raider game. They failed to separate, and Green kept throwing into double and triple coverage. I found that disappointing personally. If a receiver is in traffic, you can very well bet that others are open or in a man-to-man situationn. I'm sure the coaches will reviewing film with Green to point this out.

The problems with the run were (IMO) related to the offensive line. They weren't executing their run blocking schemes very well. In reality, the game is won or lost at the line even thought no one is ever watching what happens there. Ironic, eh? My take is that the new offensive scheme hasn't yet soaked in with those guys just yet. For what it's worth Oakland couldn't run this week either.

Peace to you all. Good luck with your respective favorite NFL teams this year (other than when they are playing KC).

yeah- the Jets are bit enigmatic. Figured they have the ability to go 4-12 or 12-4, you just never know, but thats a good aspect of NFL though really, its very unpredictable and teams can turn it around over one off-season. We have a very tough schedule sadly, in probably one of the tougher divisions.

Anyway- I know you'll be cheering for us in our next game (whether thats this week or next, dont think theyve decided yet), we get the lovely trip to the Colloseum. Cant really see us winning it, but hopefully we'll eliminate the flipping stupid errors from our game. (a DL returning a fumble 95 yds for a TD against us??? wtf???) and be competitve and push them until the end.

go vinny.
:)

Welcome aboard the Richmond express - enjoy the ride. :) You may well be the lucky charm that we have been waiting for.....now if we can just work on that Chiefs problem....;)

OMH, why are you trying to inflict more pain on the poor bloke by getting him to follow the Tigers??

Mooster7's support of The Tigers had nothing to do with me. Just trying to help out a fellow Tiger brother. :) He obviously knows his stuff....well to a certain degree anyway.
