R5 captains

Anyone ever considering picking 3-4 possible captains and letting somebody else choosing one for you without you knowing who they picked? Obviously would have to be somebody you trusted (sister, butler, postman) and you couldn't look at your live league scores.

I think it would add another element to the game not knowing whether your captain is the guy who scored a big 140 or the other fella who was tagged for a 70. I probably wouldn't do this if you had a high ranking, had a must win league match or were in the eliminator.

Might give it a try later this season.

He did... but he didnt dominate AS MUCH as G. Ablett. I was happy with Cornes' 129 as my captain... until I saw Ablett's score on saturday night

read all the bs about ablett's form against adelaide and switched him out for deledio. i thought richmond would smash melbourne for sure, and was expecting 120+ DT points for deledio.

turns out that deledio is just and overrated hack f*ck, and i should stab myself in the face for picking him over ablett as captain.

I'm not a lions fan but i'm guessing Brissy will try and repeat Hawthorn's tactics in round 1... smash him in the head a few times and see if it puts him off his game

I think that is a real possibility of happening. Vossy would expect his boys to make him feel every possession.

With all of that said, it will still take some balls not to pick Gaza as captain.

I've changed my captain most weeks trying to find the highest scorer and it hasn't worked for me.

I've averaged over 100 but I have Ablett and when I don't put him captain, he kills me.

Not any more. Ablett is my captain for the rest of the season.

Everytime someone mentions not to go Ablett because he plays so & so this week I laugh. Even the 1 player who troubles him-(crowley), would have been smashed by Gazza last year before that ankle injury in the 2nd quarter at Skilled stadium.

Judd is an option. Played well last year against WB, scored 104 and kicked 1goal 3 behinds. All his shots were un Judd like and should have slotted 4
