Jake Spencer and James Sellar will be our tall ruck and forward combination.

Overlooking Fitzpatrick, Neeld?

Are you ****ING tanking?

**** my life... I know Neeld says he doesn't want to 'gift' games - but I get the feeling it's more that he doesn't want to 'gift' games to certain players, and that he comes down significantly harder on talented players who aren't performing than 'triers' who aren't performing.

Obviously it's hard to tell from the outside, maybe the 'triers' get saved by defensive elements of their game or something.

Sellar and Spencer aren't forwards.. and Fitzs 46 hit outs last week would beg to differ anyway

Yeah I see what he's doing though. We need Sellar to help out in the ruck just because of the experience though. I see what neeld's going for with this team, older harder bodies with more experience over the youngins of the gold coast. Hence why Tynan and Fitz miss out. Magner is just out of form

Spewing. I'm not one to question Neeld because, well, none of us have any clue what we're talking about really, but... I wanted to see Fitzpatrick on the park.
Any other coach at 2-16 would be considered to have no idea either.

In a team with half its best 22 injured, having been midfield coach at a recent premier, with huge raps (and tutelage from) a coaching legend?

All this Neeld hate is pissing me off.

Fitzy is a 20 year old tall who can do things a lot of established talls can't do. He has raw talent and is playing good footy at Casey. He is worth persisting with.

Spencer??? My mum always said that if you can't say something nice about someone then don't say anything at all.

No biggie from me, Fitzpatrick has been useless in the games he has played for Melb.
Looks good at Casey though.

You mean the whole two games he has played?

We'd be leading the 'produce players who dominate VFL but can't get a kick in the AFL' cup by a rural mile

NAB Cup too, he was absolutely terrible in the game against Hawthorn (i was there so it sticks out in my memory, my hawks mate couldn't believe how bad he was, I couldn't either). Hasn't shown anything at seniors level.

Your mum was wrong, slag the f*** out of him.

You're right. But give him him time. He does more at Casey than a lot of other, more experienced big blokes do at this level. He won't be playing his best footy for another 3-4 years.

I really hope he becomes a good player, just don't think he'd offer much this weekend.

Dude seriously? For your sake I hope that's the only premature thing in your life.
He has almost been part of the club for three years, he's about 3 months younger than Watts. I know he has had some rare probems (CF, diabetes) but still he has had enough time to show talent as senior level.

2 games at AFL level is nowhere near enough time to show your talent and he has been dominant for the Scorpions recently.
