Cheers Pube and I agree totally how some try get brownie points by slandering others. What is the difference between racism and trying to prove a moral hierarchy? Both are degrading others so wheres the difference?

What you are erring in is taking political correctness a little too far in regards to pedantic exact 100% letter perfect semantics and wording.

You would have liked him to have said, "The life that entitles a certain percentage of muslims to degrade women and the elderly that don't believe in the Muslim way of life. It was a shame the way it happened, but taking away the negative shameful aspects of what did occur, I feel life will be better now that it did happen, bringing all these pent up hidden feelings out and fostering a new period of genuine mutual peace and communication such that it will make in the one hand these certain percentages of Lebanese-Australian lads to think twice before harrassing the innocent, as that was where the initial problem originated. Always proud to be Australian.

I'm guessing that this is what you would have preferred to read, yet you would still have looked for the racist undertones of a) saying the problems originated with the troublemaking Leb youths, b) the proud to be australian comment.

The fact is, the Leb youths have provoked this situation over a number of years. This isn't racist to point out. Forget why. They originated it. And there's nothing racist in saying you're proud to be Australian. I took that as TT saying "of the Australian way of life, peace, democracy". But you would still have not given him the benefit of the doubt. Easier to yell, RACIST.

I don't dislike you Bunsen, not at all. But you and a few others I have noticed do this.

Also, you have to take TT on his word. You can tell when someone is being genuine in defense of themselves. Also, TT doesn't have to be anilly politically correct in wording everything letter perfect just to please anyone's interpretation of his comments. They're not all going to sit there like professional writers running the finest tooth-comb over every sentence and phrase. People have different ways of writing, of effort in writing. To get a point across quickest possible way on a forum that ticks over very quickly with a million posts to read and respond to. You can't have everyone reading through 10 paragraphed posts (like this). They get bored too easy.

It was actually both. There's an underlying racist attitude in the Cronulla region.

ps I've previously stated several times from the start that Lebs have been going to Cronulla to start trouble for at least 10 years.

You see, there are a majority of arabs/lebs or whatever that are only in this country as a salvage because their chances of survival back home are minimal. They don't interact and mix with aussies because they hate this place and think they're above us.
