Railway Stakes -Ortensia's Revenge?

I was keen on him but the 9/16 in last year's Railway put me off a bit. Do you know if he was unlucky on that occasion?

Yes he was trapped wide for the journey.
Would have backed Kasabian if he started.
Going to back Grand Nirvana. No eastern states horse has won since 1999 and the ones that have won are genuine G1 horses.

He was wide the entire trip. I just like him because off his odds his form around Gold Salute is very good beaten 1.6 lengths by him in the Toorak but Famous Roman meets him 2kg better at the weights and he did come from behind GS that day.
Not having a huge go at him just think he's the one at nice odds there are concerns however with him the main one is there enough pace in the race ?

That never eventuated as Carpenter lost the election shortly after this announcement...a $5m Railway would've been crazy, but would've been better to see the money spread across all races and not just put into the one

Have been disciplined all day waiting for Ortensia (it was very tough).
Stable is confident she will run out the mile. She & the stable are due for some luck today, & hopefully we get to see the real Ortensia stand up today.

Fantastic race & would not be out of place in our Spring over here.
